Dark Chocolate Strawberry Dips (Printable Version)

Juicy strawberries enrobed in dark chocolate with optional nut or sprinkle toppings for a festive touch.

# What You'll Need:

→ Fruit

01 - 20 large fresh strawberries, washed and thoroughly dried, leaves intact

→ Chocolate

02 - 7 ounces high-quality dark chocolate (70% cocoa), chopped

→ Optional Toppings

03 - 2 tablespoons chopped toasted nuts (e.g., pistachios, almonds, hazelnuts)
04 - 2 tablespoons white chocolate, melted (for drizzling)
05 - 2 tablespoons sprinkles or edible glitter

# Directions:

01 - Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Place the chopped dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl and melt it over a saucepan of simmering water using the double boiler method, stirring until smooth. Alternatively, melt in microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring between each.
03 - Holding each strawberry by the leaves, dip it into the melted chocolate, twirling to coat evenly.
04 - Let excess chocolate drip off, then place the dipped strawberry on the prepared baking sheet.
05 - Immediately sprinkle with chopped nuts or sprinkles if desired before the chocolate sets. For white chocolate drizzle, wait until dark chocolate has set, then drizzle melted white chocolate using a fork or piping bag.
06 - Repeat the dipping and decorating process with the remaining strawberries.
07 - Allow chocolate to set at room temperature for about 30 minutes or refrigerate briefly to speed setting.
08 - Serve chilled or at room temperature.
